Cruising Hydrogénerator

Your hydrogenerator was your loyal energy producer for many miles and many trips where it played in an hostile environment (salt, moisture, unidentified floating objects,…).

Like any technical equipment on your boat, it may be the right time to have it reviewed before leaving peacefully for future offshore sailing.

This is our recommendation every two years or every 10 000 miles. Watt&Sea proposes different levels of revision packages to suit all your needs.

Servicing your hydrogenerator will allow you to benefit from a 6 months warranty on the work done and on the parts replaced.

How to revise your hydrogenerator?

Leave your hydrogenerator to your installer-retailer, in an appropriated transportation package, propeller removed.
Choose from one of the five levels of revisions below.
Upon receipt of goods, Watt&Sea workshops will conduct their review and establish, if necessary, an estimate of needed additional repairs.
Keep your invoice attesting the 6 months warranty granted.

WATT&SEA Helpful Tips

Apart from factory servicing, we recommend you to regularly :

Remove the propeller and clean the shaft from fouling
Check the wire exiting from the hydrogenerator leg (not cut nor pinching)
Check the external connections (no corrosion)
