    The Class 40 hydrogenerator is a new model designed for fast cruising boats.

    It’s a simplification of its big brother, the RACING hydrogenerator, made possible by a high-speed alternator and a specially designed fixed-pitch propeller machined from stainless steel.

    This product is recommended for Class 40 sailing boats, but also for fast cruising boats such as multihulls.

    The power of this hydrogenerator has been increased to 700W with a 24V system (600W with 12V).

    This product will also be fitted on some IMOCAs boats in carbon version for the Vendée Globe 2024/2025.

    This propeller is designed to operate over a wide speed range from 5 to 30 knots without the complexity of variable pitch.


    Designed to develop 300W at 12 knots, it can nevertheless develop 700W at peak speed and cope with high speed differentials.

    For specific performance requirements, we can design custom blades.
